October 2016 : Our inclined shock tube made an appearance in The Accountant

June 23, 2016 : Congratulations to Dan Fries and his competition team for their recent participation in the NASA RASC-AL competition. The IMaGInE - Team won *Best in Theme*, *Best of All* (First Place) and the *PEACH Award* (Pioneering Exceptional Achievement Concept Honor). The team consisted of students from 11 universities in 8 different countries, and was led by Penn State student Davide Conte. May 24, 2016 : U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz visited the lab. Read the article here for more information about his visit.

April, 2016: Congratulations David Reilly for being selected to receive the Sigma Xi Best Master's Thesis Award.

May 2016 : Devesh Ranjan has been invited to participate in the National Academy of Engineering's 2016 US Frontiers of Engineering Symposium in September. Click here for more information about the symposium.

April 2016 : Congratulations to Benjamin Musci for being a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program award. The NSF GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science and engineering disciplines who are pursuing research-based doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions.

April 2016 : Benjamin Musci received and accepted the DOE NNSA Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship award. The DOE NNSA SSGF provides excellent financial benefits and professional development opportunities to students pursuing a Ph.D. in fields of study that solve complex science and engineering problems critical to stewardship science.

March 31, 2016 : Congratulations Dorrin Jarrahbashi and Taegyu Kang for winning first place in the poster competition at this year's Supercritical CO2 Power Cycles Symposium.
