November 20, 2017: Mohammad Mohaghar presented the work from the Shock Tube group on “Investigation of Atwood ratio influence on turbulent mixing transition of a shock-driven variable density flow after reshock” at the APS-DFD 2017 conference.

November 10, 2017: Congratulations to Dan Fries on successfully proposing his PhD research plans on “Experimental Multi-Scale Analysis of Supersonic Jets in Crossflow: Mixing and Combustion”.

October 2017: STAM Lab welcomes the new graduate student Cameron Ahmad. He finished his Masters at Johns Hopkins University, and will be studying turbulent mixing of reacting jets.
